nikon sucks, they …
nikon sucks, they would do that! honestly, if you’re gonna be shooting pics with a date stamp, it better be with a digital point-and-shooter. why ruin a d-slr picture with that amateurish feature? if you want it on so bad, just put it on afterwards with photoshop or even MS Paint. DateStamp is redundant anyways since Canon shows you in Review mode the date and time you took the picture.

That is true. IT …
That is true. IT does not mean that XSi can do that if the Nikon can. And I didn’t even say that. That’s why I asked people around if and HOW can I print it.

Well, the Nikon D60 …
Well, the Nikon D60 and the Rebel XSi are two different cameras… Just because the D60 can do something doesn’t mean the XSi can. I don’t think that the XSi allows you to put timestamps on the images it takes.

YEs, there is. My …
YEs, there is. My friend just bought a Nikon D 60 and in menu there is an option to print the date on the picture while you take the picture.

One thing that is …
One thing that is cool about the live view feature is that if you are focusing manually, you can zoom in on the live view and make sure your focusing is accurate. Really useful when doing macro photography.

Well, I don’t …
Well, I don’t believe there is a way to put a timestamp on the actual image produced. However, when you transfer the files to your computer, the date will be placed in the metadata of the file.
